• Size 10 crochet cotton: 35 yds tan, 28 yds green, 21 yds rose
• Size 9/1.25mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Pinning board
• Plastic wrap
• Rustproof pins
• Starch

• Rnds 1 and 2 = 1 inch

Special Stitch

• Beginning treble crochet cluster (beg tr cl): Ch 4, holding back last lp of each st on hook, 2 tr as indicated, yo, pull through all lps on hook.

Doily

First Motif

• Rnd 1 (RS): With rose, ch 12, sl st in first ch to form ring, beg tr cl (see Special Stitches) in ring, [ch 3, tr cl (see Special Stitches) in ring] 11 times, ch 3, join with sl st in top of beg tr cl. Fasten off. (12 cls, 12 ch-3 sps)
• Rnd 2: Join green with sl st in any ch-3 sp, (beg tr cl, ch 3, tr cl) in same ch sp, *ch 5, sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 5**, [tr cl, ch 3, tr cl] in next ch-3 sp, rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with sl st in top of beg cl. Fasten off. (12 cls)
• Rnd 3: Join tan with sl st in any ch-3 sp between cls, (beg tr cl, ch 5, tr cl) in same ch sp, *ch 4, sc in next ch sp, ch 9, sc in next ch sp, ch 4**, (tr cl, ch 5, tr cl) in next ch-3 sp between cls, rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with sl st in top of beg cl. Fasten off.

• Rnds 1 & 2: Rep rnds 1 and 2 of First Motif.
• Rnd 3: Join tan with sl st in any ch-3 sp between cl, (beg tr cl, ch 5, tr cl) in same ch sp, ch 4, sc in next ch sp, ch 9, sc in next ch sp, ch 4, tr cl in next ch sp, ch 2, sl st in corresponding ch-5 sp between cls of previous Motif, ch 2, tr cl in same ch-3 sp on working Motif, ch 4, sc in next ch sp, ch 4, sl st in ch-9 sp on previous Motif, ch 4, sc in next ch sp on working Motif, ch 4, tr cl in next ch-3 sp, ch 2, sl st in ch-5 sp between cls of previous Motif, ch 2, tr cl in same ch-3 sp on working Motif, *ch 4, sc in next ch sp, ch 9, sc in next ch sp, ch 4**, (tr cl, ch 5, tr cl) in next ch-3 sp, rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with sl st in top of beg cl. • Rnds 1-3: Rep rnds 1-3 of 2nd Motif.
• When working last Motif, join to previous and first Motifs to close ring.
• Cover pinning board with plastic wrap, starch Doily and pin to pinning board in all outer ch sps.
